As a documentary photographer and educator, my interest is in story telling, context and manipulating space.
I started out doing nature photography (13 published books), although my real interest has always been documentary and photo journalism. I have shot editorial and portraiture and I am also interested in examining different approaches to space in landscapes. Clearly, I have some difficulty in categorising what I do!
I have taught photography in the UK, France, Estonia and Greece for decades and wrote a free app to help darkroom workers get to grips with F-stop printing.
